Harvey Curtis - A History

Harvey Curtis has been a property developer extensively working on his own account since 1969 in both the UK and Western Europe.

In 1999, on the suggestion of and with a UK based financier and developer, Vincent Moran, Mr. Curtis visited Poland. In 2000 a joint arrangement was agreed between Mr. Curtis and Mr. Moran and he went to work in Poland where, prior to Mr. Moran's death in August 2002, he worked on a number of residential and commercial schemes.

Following Vincent Moran's death he set up Claybark Limited Spolka Komandytowa, a limited liability partnership which he describes as a "Development Boutique" sourcing development opportunities in Poland, matching them with investors for whom Claybark then manages and

 




coordinates the development process including, where applicable, the appointment of a design team, obtaining planning and building permits, the tender process and the subsequent appointment of a General Contractor, coordinating the letting and monitoring and managing the construction process.

Current projects in which Claybark is involved include a Hypermarket and Galleria development in Rzeszow let to Metro Group; a 38 hectare production and distribution centre in Zory; a shopping centre development in Gorzow; a retail development in Suwalki (still in the planning stage) and a purpose built production and warehouse facility for an international company supply the motor industry.

He is also a director of three Polish companies.
